Minnesota game was a bad loss and will sting.
It wasn't that bad of a loss. Minnesota is 83 in the NET - if they can reach 75 it becomes a quad 1 game.

I think the bigger problem is that Iowa doesn't have much in the way of big wins. @Indiana is the best win they have. They need to beat a ranked opponent to turn some heads. They've been close a few times, but no cigar.

Purdue at home, Nebraska at home, Wisconsin there, Ohio St there and we still have Michigan at home, although that' is more of a pipe dream, still plenty of opportunities. Plus well have PennSt there, Northwestern at home, and Washington there

It was a tough loss. But you are going to run into those in the Big Ten on the road. Top 20 NET ranking at this point in the season In Ben Mac's first year I think most (at the beginning of the year) would take that in a heartbeat.

Not really a pipe dream… if they can put it together and play with few errors they could make a huge jump into the tournament but obviously that’s up to these guys

The OSU game is at Carver.

Remaining schedule is @Wash, home NW, @md, home PU, home Neb, @Wisc, home OSU, @psu, home Mich, and @ Neb. That’s 7 Quad 1 in our last 10 with 4 at home and 3 away. Lots of great opportunity!

Oh for sure. I'm happy with the NET ranking and where they are in kenpom. As for the voters in the AP/Coaches polls, it seems the computers like Iowa better than the humans do. I think being Top 20 in the NET/Kenpom yet an 8 seed in bracketology kind of shows that.

But as others have said, plenty of opportunities down the stretch.

There is a lot of opportunity to improve our seeding and get off the 8 line. The game tomorrow night against Wash will be big if we can get it. I have to believe we can knock off a ranked team at home and there are 3 chances to do that. Hopefully the team keeps the momentum going and plays well down the stretch!
