A lot of seats on seatgeek. Late start. Do the students show in force? Tough night for Rippey to visit.

Looks and sounds fine on TV but not close to a sellout. Which again, is fine. Fan support for basketball is WAY more loyal than football in a relative sense.

Meanwhile the FS1 network moves out west to see our former Scarlet Knight.
Many, many empty seats on the lower level.

Washington is 15-13.
UCLA is 14-13.

Weird Situation where Pike tried to get the crowd up and loud in the second half, but the crowd did not respond, because we were so far ahead,

there was no sense of urgency

Yeah that was funny

I think it’s just habit for him . Up 30 and he’s waving his arms to get the crowd going. The crowd was like - nah coach, it’s late, they got this

Good crowd, great game. Team is so hard to figure out, but it was certainly fun to take the Slappies out behind the woodshed. Everyone played well. Would be nice to continue that kind of play at NE.

Yea saw the 2 guests seated next to the governor proudly wearing their Michigan blue. Until the route was on and the younger guest put an additional jacket over his sweatshirt.

that pissed me off to no end. I tweeted at Hobbs about it. No reason there should ever be an opposing fan sitting courtside with the AD wearing their opposing team gear.

Think we'd ever see a Rutgers fan in Scarlet sitting next to the UM or PSU AD? I think not.

The rule should be Scarlet or neutral....or find another seat.

Interesting you say that. Hobbs spent less time in his seat last night than I have seen recently. And he had very little interaction with Murphy. I was in my seats 45 minutes prior to the game and I only saw Hobbs speak to him once the entire game.

I noticed the decreased interaction as well, although I did see Hobbs leave to get Phil a beer a few times. Mrs. Hobbs could not have looked less interested...leaning back, arms crossed & not interacting for most of the game.

Maybe Hobbs was pissed that Phil brought UM fans to sit courtside?

Either way, Hobbs needs to take some of those "tee shirt time " tee shirts and hand them out to anyone sitting courtside and wearing opposing team colors.

I’ll assume y’all here pay for your tickets?

Nice to know that Murphy, who gets free tix, brought Mish fans to sit court side for free

pay for tickets, parking and seat fees.....

Not 100% sure they were Phil's guests, there was one person that divided Phil from the 2 of them. Amy Towers spent almost all of halftime talking to them though.

I’ll agree relative to the entire fan base, but think there’s a distinction with this board. Way too many obnoxious, negatoid rockheads to be labeled as “great” fans.
Too many levels to talk about but we do have a lot of negative, rockheads that are probably good fans at the games. I sit near some of the worst fans at the games. Dumber than bricks and nothing good to say. No cheering just picking out missed shots in a 30 point win. Now that's a bunch of rockheads. lol.
