Tom Penders Tweet

Here's what a fomer HC thinks of the program and no he's not bitter at Rutgers. Also for those of you who expect elite recruits without offering something in return.

[rutger80]

Wasn't Penders passed over for the job at one point?

I think so, but like I said he's probably counting his lucky stars. Does anyone disagree with him?

[SirScarlet]

Penders used us to get more money not once, but twice, if I remember correctly

We are a complete joke, but screw him. He always struck me as a complete slimeball. so yeah, one more time...screw you Penders.

[Scarlet Shack]

Used Rutgers to get big raise at Texas in 1997 after we fired Bob and ended up hiring KB

[shields]

Shut up old man!

[Rutgers36]

Get lost Penders

[APKnight]

Irrelevant for now Tom. But not for long.

[FELONIOUSMONK]

Same guys here who rip the program close ranks against "outsiders".

[Friend of 112]

Retired from the coaching profession, Penders is now a Professional Troll

[B1GNJHoops]

I see. Only Rutgers fans can criticize Rutgers. Got it.

[Knights 1212]

Penders is probably still upset because we beat his Columbia team when he tried to sit on the ball way back in the 70's. He never seemed to say anything nice about RU.

Penders wanted the job for real when Littlepaige was hired.

Yes
It's the code.

[TheRacRU]

Telling it like it is.

It's called F.A.M.I.L.Y.

No. Sorry. Family supports you and doesn't destroy a commit before he sets foot on campus.

Family is being a fair-weathered fan base that criticizes its own players more than opponents? That's family?

Rutgers likes to think there's a conspiracy against the school from the big bad media.

Well everything that's happened at Rutgers is self-inflicted. Rutgers has to own their bad decisions.

I'm not defending Eddie here. Maybe Hobbs pulls off a miracle and does what's needed.
