Clemson RPI 88
Georgetown RPI 77
UCLA RPI 68
LSU RPI 74

All of these teams are "on the list," yet our RPI of 48 (according to ESPN) isn't good enough to even be "on the page."

Not to mention their RPI is still broken. It's a formula easy enough for a 6th grader to understand and they still can't get it right.

Georgetown is terrible! Do they still think this is the 80s or something?

It's more 'program', 'conference' then 'good wins' for power teams.

Clemson: 14-10 with 2 bad losses, 1 terrible loss, 5 top 50 wins.
L to RPI 177, 244, and 120.
W vs: 44, 37, 29, 19, 11

Georgetown: 14-11 with 2 bad losses, one top 50 win.
L vs 155, 158,
W vs 8

UCLA: 13-10 with 2 bad losses and 3 top 50 wins.
L vs 108, 186,
W vs 33, 31, 16

LSU: 15-9 with 3 bad losses and 2 top 25 wins.
L vs 111, 101, 108,
W vs 16, 24

Georgetown and LSU are downright not very good teams. ESPN sucks up to Georgetown because..well...they're Georgetown. They suck up to LSU right now because of Ben Simmons...funny, LSU is a lot like the Lakers with Kobe Bryant. Great player, but the team as a whole is garbage.

Oh, same stats for RPI 42:
TU: 16-8 with 1 bad loss, 3 top 50 wins.

L vs 144
W vs 34, 48, 13

TU easily beats Georgetown, UCLA, and LSU in terms of bad losses vs good wins and is comparable to Clemson given Clemsons 2 bad losses and one sub-200 loss vs their 5 good wins.

It's all about winning gentlemen. We have a tough six games coming, if we win against the top four, playing the bottom two won't hurt us. If we finish with 10 or fewer losses I think we're in with our SOS. More than that and we need to win three in a row next month.

Indeed sir!

2 of 3 with UConn, Cincy, and Temple then sweep Memphis, UCF, USF and we're good.

I think we can best eat a loss @UConn since we beat them at home. We get Temple and Cincy at home which helps immensely!
Memphis on the road will be tough but we swept them last year BUT it will be their Senior Night for 5 seniors, including Goodwin who can take over a game as well as Tarrant and Burrell who are also double digit scorers.

God our schedule is scary. We have yet to play a good game in Connecticut, and haven't ever showed anything against Cincy. Add in a (laughably) surging Temple squad, and Memphis on senior night + UCF away. All scary.

Gawd! No kidding...

But at least we're playing for something and if having 8 seniors is ever going to pay off, this is the stretch that it will.
