To Stadium Management

Today at our gate there were 4 people who passed out while waiting for the doors to open. Medics had to come in all 4 cases. They allowed the fans to begin entering about 25 minutes prior to the first pitch. Many folks missed the start of the game. It is logistically impossible to take that many people into a gate in 25 or 30 minutes. It is so unfair to those fans so adversely impacted. Just think if it had been really hot. Fix the problem please.

Does the stadium management have much say into game times? I’m assuming that’s all ESPN or the NCAA. It was ridiculous. We got in line 15 minutes before first pitch and made it in during bottom of 1st. So I’d guess we were in line ~25 minutes.

They had 65 minutes between games to empty stadium and let people in... why did it take so long to start letting people in? Emptying stadium should have took 15-20 mins at most, so you should have had 30-40 mins to let people in.

That's SOP at the CWS. In 2007 we stood in a line that wrapped all the way around Rosenblatt for two hours before our game against UNC began and we still didn't get to our seats until the top of the 4th inning. After three trips to Omaha, regardless of how much fun I've had.. I've come to realize they aren't rocket surgeons when it comes to crowd management.

Stadium management doesn’t read SixPacksPeak. They monitor the Hail State Facebook groups. They routinely ask what time the game starts so they can plan gate openings. These young whippersnappers think they are being funny and tell them the wrong time, hence your problem.***
