I got to meet the Honorable Medic007. In uniform looking very royal and majestic. My hat is off to Medic and his crew. They are the unseen saviors for many in need during these hot game days.

For those wondering what Scottsdale is like in person... humble, generous, and holy crap that genuine warmness. I have met many great people during my career, and Scottsdale is one of them.

The Santee Lounge is all that's advertised. The food is plentiful, no lines to the bathroom and cold beer for purchase. The popcorn was my favorite. My seats are a little farther back than I like but I will push to get closer to the field as the years go by. I am back in Norman this morning for the game. Forrest Valora and a couple of other Az buddies made the trip with me. We had a great time at the Legions dinner last night. Many past OU greats and many past NU players also. I met Rick Glover, Trev Alberts (new NU AD), Don Key & Keith Jackson. Boz was there. Bobby Proctor was as chipper as ever and approaching 90 years old. We have pregame field access passes this morning. Time to put a hurt of the Children of the Corn today.
