What weather? It’s going to an absolutely beautiful day todaySeems we should just have all Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday games as TBD to start season and then decide on time week of based off weather forecast.
I assume you are advocating for games to start no earlier than 6 pm. That would have been fine today, with it still being in the 70s at 9 pm, but check out the forecast for next Tuesday, when the high is 41 and the low is 26. That is typical of Chapel Hill weather for mid-March, and is the reason we usually don't start playing night games until late March / early April.Do we actually want folks to go to games?

I don't know why this particular game moved, but the staff cares more about routine and comfort/convenience than the marginal increase in revenue that would come from a midweek game being a couple hours later.I get that, but 3 pm on a Tuesday?
I just don’t understand why we don’t do everything we can help the attendance, it seems like there’s more done to hinder it.
Also the average in Mid-March in Chapel hill his 58-67.
it also doesn’t get dark now till 7:15-7:30, at least start the games at 5.
Yeah, I’m sure that’s what’s happened. I just don’t understand the game times now that it’s staying lighter longer. I will say the UL Friday game is at 8 pm which I’m sure was dictated by tv being on ACCN.I don't know why this particular game moved, but the staff cares more about routine and comfort/convenience than the marginal increase in revenue that would come from a midweek game being a couple hours later.
This could be something as simple as Bucknell asked us to because of their travel schedule. It's really odd we're playing them in a standalone midweek game between two series in Pennsylvanaia. I figured they were down here on a spring break trip or something.
I get that, but my point is this time of the year, it can be 70 or 40 during the game, If it is 40, a large percentage of our fans will choose to stay home, even if the game starts after work.my main thing, is that college baseball fandom is growing. I feel we should attempt to help that by doing things as small as starting games after most normal folks get off work. I’m not mad or upset, but things like that help the regular fanbase grow.
You just made my day with this post about the Friday UL game being at 8pm. Granted, it’s during NCAAT week, but for me an 8pm game on a Friday is so much better than 4pm. I can tuck my youngest into bed at 7:00 and still be in the stadium by first pitch.Yeah, I’m sure that’s what’s happened. I just don’t understand the game times now that it’s staying lighter longer. And believe it or not we have lights.I get that, but 3 pm on a Tuesday?
