First come first serve. Presumably a good number of Illinois/Iowa fans will get there early and get good seats and then leave after game 1.

Don’t be so sure. I wish that was the case last year when I went to DC. Yes, there will be people who leave, but it’s tricky because reserved seating for players’ families take up a good chunk. Also, if they were really good seats, they probably made that effort for the sole intention of staying for two games. On top of just random basketball fans, you’ll probably be maneuvering with other Rutgers fans for good seats.

Last year, I ended up having empty corner section seats. With a home crowd, don’t expect a guarantee to get so lucky to get awesome middle section seats by skipping the first game and checking in for the second.

My viewpoint last year. Still not bad. Maybe I’m just greedy and was expecting middle section. Showed up for second game, but nothing in the middle for party of 3 when I got to looking. Anyone that left, someone else got lucky before me and walked down the right aisle before me.
