Thursday Games this Week???

Anybody in the know as to why there's been so many games played on Thursday this week? Looking on IHSA site, it seems like almost 1/5 of the Chicagoland games happened yesterday.

I can see teams wanting an extra day to rest before playoffs - but don't remember this from years past (at least not at this scale).

No idea if they are related, but many schools around me were off today. York played last night, and had no class today, and teacher conferences all day.

CPS didn't have school today plus no Saturday night games allowed this week.

The CSL played Thursday games earlier in the year to help with the referee shortage.

Argo played home Thursday as big soccer game tonight at Argo

Over the years, some games were played on Thursdays because of the Jewish holydays.

Actually the entire SSC was Thursday night due to the ref shortage. Nothing to do with soccer.
