Not a bad deal we have right now. My most realistic dream would be minland and laurent. I might take another nap later on today though.

Freeman is the only one we don't have very little shot with at this point I'd think. Laurent and Minland are our best options.

Carino seems to think we have an outside chance at Ellison. I highly doubt he comes here though with his offer list...

I really appreciate Hype's knowledgeable contribution to the basketball board but I find it ironic within a few hours time of him clearly stating of the three I listed that we only have a shot with Freeman....
(all in good fun Hype, you can't be right every time).

Hope PiscatawayMike is right and we really have a shot with Ellison (even though he tweeted today he wants to leave NJ).

They definitely know each other. When EJ was working with DC Assault, PE was a coach for an AAU team in Philly. Wes Unseld's son, Junior, was an assistant on EJ's staff with the Bullets. Unseld coached PE on the Bullets in '90-91. The NBA is a small fraternity. EJ knows a lot of people. We can only hope his connections will eventually land us some talented players.

I would favor one of the scholarships be given to a player who graduates in June but still has another year of eligibility.This scenario would allow using that scholarship for a 2016 recruit which satisfies a immediate need and also upgrading the squad a year later.

The easy way is knock RU's chances with every kid Jordan goes after, then find a way to knock the recruits ability if he committs.
Not saying Hype does that, but he does like to tell us: "he's not coming to Rutgers".

ype knows more than me when it comes to recruiting, but think he looks at RU negatively because he has a problem liking
RU MBB with Jordan the HC. ( JMAO)

I could never understand the so-called recruiting expertise and fully expect if he does return how Laurent is not any good, after all, he is such an expert

To be honest, I knew no one that knew "much" about Laurent, you can take that as you wish *shrugs*.

With that being said, there is still a shot that RU lands Freeman.

Okay hype,that is why top 10 team in the country next year, maryland was looking at laurent. Laurent will fit in nicely and will be an asset to us.

Same question can be asked about why we think we're going to get 4-5 star recruits when we've been a losing program for a long time unfortunately.

Laurent is going to be a good player for us.

of the p-5 schools ,Rivals had only Bama & Georgia Tech offering Laurent
Scout didn't have Bama, but Georgia Tech &Georgia was listed as offering.

Seems like some schools, not many, knew enough about Jonathan to offer.
Could be he was being looked at by more then those schools that offered, but committed to RU before they decided
to make an offer.

Cabbage, because in most cases when it comes to recruiting, no news is well....no news.

Higgins, hope you're right.

MD was never after or offered him.
