It’s pretty decent. However, high school class rankings have lost a ton of value the past couple of years, since the cream of the crop will look for greener pastures after the season. It hardly makes sense to recruit high school players outside of the Top 100. Investing in developing players seems to be a thing of the past unless you have at least two-year commitments or making transfers sit out a year once again. And then you add in Ace and Dylan, who are one and done and hs recruiting doesn’t mean close to what it used to.
Despite being freshmen, a pair of 5-star players are locks to start and are expected to excel. No arguement there. But a freshman 4-star starting? Unthinkable!
I've watched a lot of tape on Lathan. Not highlights where nobody misses or makes mistakes. Actual games.
Wasn't overly impressed with his defense but offensively he's very impressive, especially for a guy his size. He can dribble, pass and has a very soft touch around the basket. He better not attempt them in games here, but he actually is a pretty good 3-point shooter too.

"He wound up averaging 24.6 points, 12.3 boards, 4.1 assists, and 4.1 blocks during his senior season. He piled up 25 double doubles and went off for 30+ points in 10 games."
How about dribbling between the legs, spin and take it to the hoop:
