I think that win instilled confidence. If we can run like we did against Wisc we have a shot.

It was fun watching them have fun. I think it started last week against Wisconsin, as they were finally outplaying a team that's considered better than them. Too bad they feel short, but turned it up against a struggling Maryland team. Now just need to take the confidence boost and ride it on into the Iowa game for a strong finish!

On Frost this week to get every play-maker we have on the field at the same time and out-scheme Kirk. It's why he's making the big $$$. Get it done Scott.

This game on Friday is the biggest game in Scott Frosts coaching career either he is successful in the big one or he fails.

So many games turn on 1 or 2 plays. Scott has said we have to find a way to quit making the mistakes that lose the game. When'll the first place he has to look is in the mirror. The Pass that's was intercepted in the end zone would have been a 103 yard pick 6 against Iowa. Fortunately it didn't hurt in this game but that play is a 14 point swing and probably a game losing play against Iowa. Scott, when you are inside the 10 2am and mills should be the only players touching the ball. We are Nebraska damn it, we don't need to throw passes from the 5 yard line. Line up and slam it in there and quit fooling around with the cute stuff inside the 10.

Damn straight. I think HCSF will be terrific in time but those fluffy jobs close to the goal line have to go away. That's like our 50 horizontal passes each game.....yuck. We're in the Big10 now.....even with our marginal OLine.

How well do you feel 2018 vs. 2019 has Scott Frost and his staff used the 4 game rule?

In 2018 and 2019, for the program playing the Huskers this week, it has been a good thing.

Though, I get the sense Nick Saban isn't a fan?

Toss in the new transfer portal, and he is steaming a little?

Hopefully, Auburn spoils his post-Thanksgiving. And, I usually don't root for the Tigers.

Beating Iowa is not a "big one". Iowa is a fing nobody. Deal with it.
I understand what you are saying but a win Friday would sure make the off season much better and maybe signal a change in the direction of the program

The play call was fine and receivers were open. We can't have AM making stupid decisions like under throwing a ball across his body and the defense.

He’s right though. Especially with the schedule that we had this year.

We should’ve sleepwalked to 8 wins.

I know, I agree. I almost always agree with what he and Tuco say, the resident board pessimists/throw it back in your face guy. Just can't remember the last time either of them had anything positive to say. Makes me wonder why some "fans" continue to be fans. Well, apparently that's it--so they can make reminds us of how bad we are and how far we've fallen from expectations, to make everyone as miserable as them.

Woody Hayes had some interesting soundbites on this one.
