Bryce Thompson picks Kansas over Oklahoma State. Interesting that Cade's best running mate might be JT Thor...if they get him.

It will be worth watching to see if Cade actually signs during the early signing period. I think they thought they would get Thompson to come when Cade committed.

I get the family ties thing but Cade missed on not coming to UK with the class that is assembled and a chance to truly compete for a national championship on the BIGGEST STAGE. He will still be a high lottery pick but his college experience will be dramatically difference and the fans he takes with him to the NBA far fewer.

KU is going to need him next season. They will lose a lot after this season, especially at guard. Agbaji probably bolts. Dotson may as well. I think Garrett graduates. Thompson will get lots of PT next season.

Thompson will get lots of playing time for a new coach while being on probation if he sticks with the Jailhawks !

This is 100% correct and hearing that although Jalen Green had high interest in KU, we may be backing down...Would guess another potential overseas victim...and Yep Garret graduates this year....IMO Agbaji is not ready to jump at all

Yeah, after all that 2013 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP banner is still flying in the Chicken Bucket.

People think every case is UNC-CHEATS. Not so. I think the risk of loss of credibility and stature as a governing body in much greater for the NCAA if it lets Kansas skate than if Kansas is punished fairly severely. Why bother to charge them with serious offenses if there was going to be no follow through? This is a much more straight-forward case than UNC-CHEATS setting up a whole bogus department and letting students pretend to take classes. That level of corruption was just too mind-blowing. The Adidas case is simple.

KU is not going to be as easy to take down as UofL.

I hope you guys are right, but I have no faith in the NCAA doing the right thing.

No rules. no standards. no integrity. no accountability. No problem.

KU is an out of control adolescent male playground. Why not commit?

Really glad Cal and UK holds players to standards and raises them well while they have them (most likely all have been previously raised well in their own homes...)

Rock Chalk, Rules Suck.... KU

The dumbest thing about Cade Cunningham's recruitment is how the jackass coaches were busy filming "Troll Videos" for BBN when they completely mishandled this recruitment. When you build an entire program around 1 player and do any/everything to get said player, who will be there for a season, it should be locked up ASAP. Instead...these morons wanted to play games and it's going to cost them their jobs in the end. Just remember that when it happens and when some of the BBN trolls them and gets called out, tell the critics to kiss your ***.

Cash is king for Thompson.

If there was a real organization that wanted to cleanup the sport, Self & the fakebird program would be shut down immediately.

I feel sorry for Cade. They sold him on being a Trae Young. But Trae young was a different type of ball player. Cade does not shoot 35 ft jump shots and does not have the Stellar passing skills of young. Therefore a player like Cade who can be dominant with a Supporting Cast will be easy to contain when you have 4 scrubs on the floor with him.

Dotson will leave and so will Moss (grad transfer so only gets one year) and Udoka (senior). Garrett is a Jr. and will return. Agbaji has fallen off of draft boards of late, so will probably return but who knows? We will have Dajaun Harris who is redshirting this year (partial qualifier) to run pg next year.

Harris/Garrett - PG
Thompson/Agbagi - SG
Tyon Grant-Foster - #1 Juco SF SG/SF
Wilson/Enaruna - SF/PF
McCormack/DeSousa/Lightfoot/Gethro Mucadin - Center

That's a title contender right there, even if we add no one else.

Garrett is a Junior this year.

Cade always talked about he planned to bring players with him to whatever school he chose. This was the top guy in his camp that actually had OKST in his final list. Who's he gonna get to go to Shitwater? Thor is a 4 star so not a huge deal. Poor Cade is going to be the next Trae Young. Losing tons of games and hoping for a pity invite to the Tourney. #1 ick is out the window. It's just too hard with how talented 2020 will be and having no real help. He will have to carry them on his back and 2020 has a lot of talent. I just don't see much if any of it going to OKST. 4 stars but that's it. A few 4-star Freshmen aren't going to be much help.

So sad how a great player is stolen because a bottom of the bin big 12 team hires family I believe Cade even said he was underwhelmed on his visit and he only committed because his brother how is that not a recruiting violation

Self backing off from a 5* combo guard? What did Green do, sell WMD’s to Iraq? Nah, that’s not it, Self wouldn’t blink an eye at that.
