Thomasville at North Rowan

Thomasville and Forbush was too close fot my taste. Forbush isnt good. So..N.Rowan all the way.
I have no ties to North Rowan other than many years ago covered a basketball tournament their for Statesville Record and Landmark. But, over the years, I have somewhat followed them and admired what they have accomplished despite a lot of obstacles. Spencer, the town of their location and just outside Salisbury, is a mostly forgotten community. Go North Rowan!
If we can get anything going with the pass we can win, but without our QB hard to tell. Way too predictable on offense right now.

Dogs have won the last two big so I am going with the Bulldogs in a close game. Dogs have to stop getting stupid penalties. Discipline is a bit of an issue the last few weeks.
One of the biggest 1A games in the state this week. Two solid teams fighting for the 1A/2A CCC split conference 1A 1 seed in the playoff.
This is the main reason why I hate the split conference but oh well…no point in griping about it
I believe that’s the third team this season that didn’t have a jv team to play the Bulldogs. Are there others coming up, Wow? Seems I heard of at least one more.
I’ll lay odds that Montgomery Central won’t show for that Monday night game.
As of now East, West, South and Lexington all are playing JV. Lets hope they get to play some more.

I believe Simmons is usually pretty accurate, but he missed this one badly. Thomasville had five td’s called back.
Bulldogs played better this week, no sloppy penalties like the last few games. Hope #2 and #7 aren't hurt. Saw #12 without the leg brace running around in shorts. Looks like he might be ready to play.
Correct. 388 yards and seven touchdowns rushing. I believe we have turned the corner.

A big congratulations to OC, ITJ, MVP86 and the other Bulldogs, WOW. Everybody thought it would be a closer game.
Tville going to humble some people this fall and remind people who they are.
Watched an humbling in Boone today. Can’t get the bighead. If we can make it that far, those mountain trips are long.
Big win for the Bulldogs. NR is a good team with some super fast guys. They will give somebody issues in the playoffs. Dogs defense is playing well and rallying to the ball. Offense is getting better and making big plays. Some younger guys came in after those injuries and played well. 5 balled out lastnight and 7 is a stud. Dogs have to get healthy and can finish 9-1. One week at a time is the name of the game and West Davidson is next up.
This young group is growing up.
