Rutgers has inched up to 28th, just behind Michigan, with 24 points. The B1G has just 3 teams ranked in the Top 25 - UMd, IU, and Minnesota but several are behind us among the ARVs.

Beating IU might get RU into it but it will also depend on having some of those ranked in the lower echelons of the Top 25 losing a game or two this week.

I find it interesting how little respect RU has gotten in the coaches poll this year. Considering CVS's stature, I just think it would be better.

You do? You've never seen this story before?
Honestly forget her stature. The team performed last year and they are doing it so far this year. Every other team gets credit for prior years, year. Not Rutgers. We get dinged for who we lost not how great she gets the current squad to play.
Least respected coach in the history of sports ( and I say that having my own issues and doubts recently but this is stupid).

A lot of her peers no longer are coaching. That has an impact on how coaches in the poll see her.

If they don't know her they don't know Geno. McGraff, Smith, K, and others, Had she won....or still can win one National Championship it w would change everything.
How she hasn't is frustrating. But the fact that she is still relevant and can still do it is both remarkable and impressive.
Her never give up is Jimmy V like! Different reasons (maybe) but Jersey Strong.

Doesn't matter and after the Indiana loss,
we can expect the team to drop out of sight.

It was said the only poll that should be a concern > is the one just before the Tourney starts..
