Coach Martin was in his 5th year, built his team with his type of guys.
They had a player in Thornwell built like with a similar skill set to RHJ. He was drafted and has hung around in the “Association”.
They started the season unranked.
Our team feels a lot like that team to me. no lottery pick type player on the roster but deep with an identity and toughness. I think we have an experience advantage over that USC team
(Not tourney) just more upper classman contributors. We have better rim protection and depth.
I can absolutely see us making a very deep similar run.
