No conflict there. Nothing to see, move along.

McCabe. Now that's an interesting name to fill in the Ménage à trois with her and Flynn. He was instrumental in her dismissal and his investigations.

Another name that's rather interesting is Peter Kadzik. Although he got the boot in January, he was very instrumental in the Hillary investigations. Never recused himself.

"Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who led the Defense Intelligence Agency, worked closely with Gritz to find terrorists overseas. He says it's a shame the FBI let go of someone with years of top national security experience."

Gritz, now 46 years old, had to sell her home and move in with her parents. The FBI yanked her security clearance, and she thinks they've been black balling her for jobs in the field. That's how she ended up selling makeup. She recently moved to a better paying position answering phones at a call center.

Secret Memos Show the FBI May Have Retaliated Against Flynn by Launching Russia Probe

Prior to the FBI launching a criminal probe against former Trump National Security Adviser, General Flynn became a nuisance to the bureau leadership by “intervening on behalf of a decorated counter-terrorism agent who accused now-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and other top officials of sexual discrimination”.

Flynn’s intervention on behalf of Supervisory Special Agent Robyn Gritz was highly unusual, and included a letter in 2014 on his official Pentagon stationary, a public interview in 2015 supporting Gritz’s case and an offer to testify on her behalf. His offer put him as a hostile witness in a case against McCabe, who was soaring through the bureau’s leadership ranks.

The FBI sought to block Flynn’s support for the agent, asking a federal administrative law judge in May 2014 to keep Flynn and others from becoming a witness in her Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) case, memos obtained by Circa show. Two years later, the FBI opened its inquiry of Flynn.

The EEOC case, which is still pending, was serious enough to require McCabe to submit to a sworn statement to investigators, the documents show.

The deputy director’s testimony provided some of the strongest evidence in the case of possible retaliation, because he admitted the FBI opened an internal investigation into Gritz’s personal conduct after learning the agent “had filed or intended to file” a sex discrimination complaint against her supervisors.

http://circa.com/politics/accountab...ainst-michael-flynn-by-launching-russia-probe

Documents and memos obtained by Circa detail how Flynn and other top officials at other government agencies in 2014 and 2015 came to intervene in the EEOC case of Gritz, who rose over two decades to a supervisory special agent inside the FBI on the strength of her counter terrorism work.

For nearly a decade, Gritz worked with the intelligence community to help successfully track down global terrorists or rescue Western hostages, and was even occasionally called upon to personally brief then-Director Robert Mueller on sensitive cases like the disappearance of a retired agent Robert Levinson inside Iran, memos show.

But her career took a sudden downward turn after she went to work under McCabe and his leadership team in 2012, resulting in her first negative rating after years of outstanding performance reviews. She filed an EEOC complain inside the FBI against a handful of bureau executives in 2012, alleging her career was being derailed by sexual discrimination.

At the time, Flynn was an Army lieutenant general and the chief of the Defense Intelligence Agency, and he put his letter on official agency stationary to be submitted in Gritz’s case.

As soon as Gritz revealed to the FBI that Flynn and other top federal figures had written letters to support her case and likely would be called as witnesses, the bureau dispatched a lawyer to try to block the evidence from being included in the EEO case, documents show.

“Flynn was the first leader to defend me,” said Gritz. “He forwarded a letter to the FBI and I personally think that Comey did not receive it. McCabe knew Flynn and I were friends. I felt that from the beginning it was an issue.”

DOJ Official Involved With Huma Abedin Email Probe Donated to Hillary
Kadzik is a longtime friend of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta

http://freebeacon.com/politics/doj-official-involved-huma-abedin-email-probe-donated-hillary/

Peter Kadzik, the assistant attorney general of the U.S. Justice Department involved with the probe into Huma Abedin's emails, previously donated to Hillary Clinton and the daughter of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.

Kadzik sent a letter to a handful of congressional leaders on Monday stating that the department would work alongside the FBI and move as swiftly as possible in its probe of newly discovered emails from Abedin recovered from the laptop of her estranged husband, former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner.

"The Department of Justice (the Department) appreciates the concerns raised in your letter. We assure you that the Department will continue to work closely with the FBI and together, dedicate all necessary resources and take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible," Kadzik wrote.

Kadzik, who attended Georgetown University's law school with John Podesta in the 1970s and remains his close friend to this day, donated to Hillary Clinton's former leadership PAC and 2008 presidential campaign while working as an attorney at the D.C.-based law firm Dickstein Shapiro LLP.

Kadzik's first contribution to Clinton came on February 6, 2006, in the form of a $1,000 check to HillPAC, a leadership PAC started by Clinton while she was serving in the Senate.

Kadzik made two more contributions during Clinton's unsuccessful presidential run in 2008. The first donation was made on June 30, 2007 in the amount of $1,000. Kudzik donated an additional $1,300 on September 30.

Kadzik also donated $250 to Clinton's vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine during his Senate run in 2012.

Two years later, Kadzik donated $250 to the school board campaign of Megan Rouse, John Podesta's daughter. That donation was revealed by WikiLeaks in emails that were stolen from Podesta's Gmail account by hackers linked to the Russian government.

Podesta sent out a number of emails to close friends and acquaintances with details of a fundraiser for his daughter, who serves on a school board in California. The event was held at the Washington, D.C. home of Tony Podesta, John's brother and the head of the Podesta Group lobbying shop.

After the fundraiser, Rouse sent an email to Podesta with a spreadsheet of donations that included a $250 donation from Peter Kadzik contained in a $500 check from his wife, Amy Weiss.

Weiss, a public affairs specialist, served as White House deputy assistant and deputy press secretary to Bill Clinton.

Weiss contributed $2,300 to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign in 2007, and donated twice more to Clinton this election cycle. Early in the Democratic primary campaign last year, Weiss donated $2,700 to Hillary for America. In September of this year, Weiss cut another $2,700 check to the Hillary Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee that includes Clinton's campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and over 30 state-level Democratic parties.

A Justice Department spokesman said that Kadzik is not directly overseeing the investigation and that his job is to respond to inquiries from Congress.

Notice the difference. I didn't claim this to be the absolute truth. I posed a question, perhaps, perhaps not. I don't expect this to eat the news cycle 24 X 7 for months upon end.

It's a plausible explanation for events that occurred, but not likely. Unlike those calling for the impeachment of our president based on no evidence whatsoever.

I have not been following this, but there is enough for the new Chief to demand confirmation of loyalty to the service over politics. Looks like an investigation into promotion within the Bureau was based on service rather than politics. Then, new Chief should ask for retirements from those who could even remotely have associations in politics. Absolutely too easy for agents in FBI or CIA to arrange "fix".

Is calling for an unbiased investigation and impeachment the same thing in your mind? (Not being sarcastic)

So if we were going to label Mueller as biased based on his friendship with Comey.....we the **** was he picked in the first place!!??!!!

Gingrich even said he was the epitome of integrity, then changed his tune once selected. So WTF now?

And....you are allowed to go in and edit other people's posts? Posts that are literally attributed to other people? And you think you are an authority on bias or integrity?

Should be ashamed of yourself. Good or bad, these are basically cyber statements by people. I shouldn't have words added to or deleted from my posts!
