Plenty of positives but no reason to be talking Final Four ( as I read in another thread).

We'll still win this one easily...but we have OBVIOUS weaknesses.

Nobody should be saying Final Four. That's crazy, especially this early. But, look at Duke and some of the other big schools. They have struggled and have losses already to a bunch of smaller mid-majors. Kentucky struggled in 2 games already. My point is that of course we have weaknesses. So do 300 other schools at this point.

Not the best coached game by Huggs.

On offense...we just pass it around outside..... ...and hope something opens with a few seconds left....

Yes it does. Have the opponent expose our press, shut down our 3's and still find a way to win. It completely represents our team. Tough

Here's a free piece of advice you might not know and some "fans" on here might not know. Just because one person writes an article and lists WVU as a Final Four "sleeper" does not mean A. That is definitely supposed to be true and B. That's how every WVU fan feels. Same for football, anybody can set unrealistic expectations for WVU so they can point and say "see I was right" but honestly most of us see people like that as LAME

Oh boy, here comes MtnMan to strike early with criticism and then disappear until we drop an away game until January....


LFM - I think we are a Final Four team because LUCK favors effort. We work hard to get in places where the lucky bounces happen or the lucky shots occur.

We got some luck against Richmond. They could have beaten us if they could have made foul shots. Later on their legs were tired, but even when they were fresh they weren't making them. If our shooters develop a consistent outside threat, we are going to be really hard to beat. Final Four would be a lot of fun.

We have the talent and spark to make a deep tournament run. As Keaton implied, luck is a product of effort.

So far the players are doing everything right.
