I know quite a few posters are MIA, and things might improve once the season starts, but as of Sept 25 this board has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.

Agree, but I think if they want the board to succeed, they're going to have to get some fresh blood in here. It would be good if whoever took over this site have the posters from Rivals contact info.
I am willing to wager that the reason that Hart is using the silly "Anon......." name is because he does not want to be directly affiliated with a board which has digressed on almost every parameter by which a board can be evaluated, not the least of which is poster enthusiasm.

Hello All! Hope all of you have had a Great Summer and Early Part of the Fall. Nothing new over my way, just really enjoying my running racing season, college football, nfl, getting ready for post season mlb baseball, and i've thrown my name in the hat to get World Cup Tickets for next summer. Also, decided to get involved with my hometown high school soccer program as an ambassador/consultant for the program by running a Non for Profit Fund for the soccer programs and serving as a scout for them by scouting their opponents.
As for basketball season, I'm excited for the 2025-2026 Team. I plan on going to go watch them @ Michigan State, @ Louisville, and @ Notre Dame for sure. Imo as long as the team is healthy I think their floor is the Elite 8 in 2026 and their Ceiling is 2026 National Champions.
Duke is Fortunate to have Brown, Foster, Ngongba, Evans, and Harris returning from last season's team to Lead the 2025-2026 Team.

A lot of stuff we don't know. Brown? Seems very injury prone. No doubt hes good. How good are Sarr and Nik? Can Foster be the man? Big Boozer and Pat being good seem certain. Can Evans diversify his game? Harris who really knows. Seems like a solid team.
I think Harris and Foster take a big leap and Brown gets healthy . Sarr and Evans are he wild cards . Can they do more than just score ? Boozer and Big Pat can score but can they protect the rim with out Brown on the court who him hisself is not a shot blocker . A lot of unknowns but his team looks ready .
Until last year, Brown didn’t have any significant injuries. I can’t label him injury prone at this point. I expect him to get lots of PT, won’t be surprised to see him and Pat on the court together a lot.

Just checking in. I stepped away for a while after the crappy season ending game and then the reset of the boards made it challenging to log in. I am totally in for this coming season. I might even eat a hotdog and drink some coors light for our opening game!!

RIP Lawrence Moten Syracuse's all time leading scorer played in the the early to mid 90s.
I stopped Moten on a traffic stop back in the day. Gave him a verbal warning. RIP
He hung around the NBA for 8 or 9 years. Kind of like a Dunleavy/Ray Allen type who could score from anywhere. Way too young. Had a relentless motor but looked so smooth. 6-5 shooting guard. Just read he is the all time Big East scorer as well. Wow.

Hearing Evans has been playing with the 2nd 5. First 5 are Foster, Sarr, Nik, and Boozer and Pat.
That would surprise me a lot . Only shooter on the floor is foster and Sarr is a slasher not a good shooter. But I ask this , who really knows the starting five ? Evans didn’t return to ride the bench and Harris sure didn’t return to become the third shooting guard off the bench . I think it’s about building confidence and Evans sure ain’t afraid to let it fly .
This also isn’t a good floor spacing team. Foster and Khamenia would be covered hard beyond the arch and made to put the ball on the deck leaving Boozer and Pat to do work inside which would allow for double teams . To me this line up is too predictable on how to guard .
I honestly get tied up with work and life. I left for awhile due to some things on here. I’m a member over at the other place but felt like that certain people left and continued the same crap. Some of the mods over here are one time we’re on another level. Who are the mods now?
