There's a full rebuild here, I don't have any idea where it eventually goes, but probably a couple of years away.
Knights1212 has it right.
Harrar 5th year senior
2019 Patrick Kelly (497th ranked on 247)
2019 Abdou Tsimbila (319th ranked)
2019 Seth Lundy (221st, starter and good player)
2020 Dallion Johnson (353, didn't play much)
2020 Caleb Dorsey (437 didn't play much)
2020 DJ Gordon (had a RU offer, didn't play much)
Valdir Manuel (JUCO from St Pat's, who committed to SHU, St John's, St Joe's and Penn State) never enrolled at PSU....at New Mexico who got their coach fired and Pitino Jr takes over there.....8PPG there for the Lobos.
No 2021 recruits out of HS.....2 portal transfers (Jr) Pickett and Cornwell (grad). They had Elijah Hutchins-Everett from NJ committed, but he didn't stay committed with the new staff.....He joined Duke assistant coach Nate James, who took the job at Austin Peay.
Slow down on PSU, they're looking at a RU like 2 to 3 year climb like RU did under Pike, if it works out. And only if they grab a banner class in 2022 that hits on everything like RU did (RHJ, Young, Mathis, Caleb etc...)
Harrar (Starter)
Lundy (Starter)
Dread (2018 recruit/starter)
Pickett (MAAC POY-Starter)
Sessoms (6th man or starter)
Cornwall (Starter or 6th man)
Gordon
Kelly
Dorsey
Johnson
Tsimbila
Minnesota is rebuilding and Nebraska is retooling its roster, but PSU isn't ahead of anyone else. By the time Harrar and Dread depart, Pickett and Cornwell will be right behind them in Year 2.....it is a complete rebuild, but I like the staff and they're aggressive in recruiting in 2022-23.....
PSU really wanted Hyatt too, which would have sped up their rebuild beyond the next 2 years.
