Ugh. The wife and I were flipping channels and stopped on some all star cornhole with NFL WR. Then that ended and an hour long special came on about Jim Valvano’s speech

That speech always kicks my ***. I am not a huge ESPN fan but I will watch that again.

Yes send your money to all the non profits with 50% overhead and feel good about it. Cancer could be cured and should have years ago, but its too great of business. Too many companies and "Non Profits" make far too much money to find a cure and make the cancer gravy train go away.

I dont think thats likely. The more likely scenario is that researchers find effective treatments for certain cancers. For most, cancer is a lifestyle disease. Tobacco, gluttony, and highly processed foods. Begin there.

beginning there is exactly what the medical industry doesnt want to do. preventing cancer doesnt make much money. but everything done after you have cancer and are going to die makes 200 billion dollars a year.
