Yeah, Lehigh has actually played decent defense against Houston and WVU in their two losses, albeit 75-57 and 69-47 losses. They also have decent size inside. I see this as a similar game to Maine, where we won't blow them out but will win comfortably.

Can you believe in the 2021 season opener RU beat Lehigh in overtime with Cliff and Harper 73-70. Lehigh actually led at one point. RU then went on the get their first NCAA appearance in 30 yrs.

So, it looks like a little bit tougher opponent, which is a good thing

I predict either Powers or Nwuli is going to pleasantly surprise us tonight :)

Nwuli is off to a tough start. Maybe he should just focus on defense for now and let the offense find him instead of vice versa.

Powers played really well in the first game. Surprised he was benched in the 2nd game. Will be interesting to see how/if he is used tonight.

Not even close for either team. Be better!!!

Joking aside - he was right that it wouldn’t be a laugher. Patriot and Ivy teams always seem to play us tough. I wish we didn’t still have two of them to come.

His prediction was also right in that Lehigh succeeded in controlling the pace of the game for most of the night. We had our moments, but couldn’t get after it they way we wanted in transition.

Where he was wrong - Lehigh hit a few more 3s than expected. We’ve allowed 9 to the past two opponents at high percentage bumping up their scoring totals. Not good - but there’s also an element of luck when it comes to perimeter shooting numbers. I’m more concerned about the handful of lay ups we allowed and that floater at the halftime buzzer should flat out never happen. Need to clean that up.

Offense has been about as good as we could’ve hoped for thus far through 3 games. On a night where outside shooting was off (23% from 3) we wisely stopped firing away from the perimeter and still managed to pull away at the end by 12. Finding different ways to generate offense so far. Can’t really complain.

Oh but they will… littlepage bad… we will have to hold teams to 50 points to win because we won’t score more than 54-60….
