I hope we have a little more energy for the entire game tonight. We really need this game as Wake Forest and Seton Hall are next up on the schedule. The game does concern me because U Mass beat Clemson pretty bad and we beat Clemson on their home court last year. I think they will be ready to play. Hopefully they are not hitting from three. They do have a few really big guys so we better be ready. I have become a bit superstitious over predicting so I will not make a call. I will be watching and am hoping for a good result.

I don't think we match up well with them at this point. Lewis gets in foul trouble early, followed by Diallo and Foreman, then Freeman. The second half we have to change our defense to play with a smaller lineup, and their bigs start to exert themselves. Blossomgame and Grantham have a big night. Clemson 78, Rutgers 66.

No. Clemson a type of opponent that suits Lewis's game.

I have a tough time concluding Lewis permanently took a step backward. Combo opponent and reversion to the mean.

I think we can win this game. Clemson's offense is slow and deliberate unlike Creighton. This may actually help us set up our defense. I won't predict a score but I will predict an RU win.

our guards (Sanders/Daniels) should be able to penetrate all game vs their guards who are not athletic.. as mentioned before we'll see all our bigs fouls.

If Lewis can stay out of foul trouble (all our bigs, really) playing against other big bodies, rather than trying to match up against smaller players, we'll fare much better than my prediction. I also think Sanders/Daniels need to drive hard into their big men and try to draw fouls - if we can flip the script and get their bigs in foul trouble instead of ours, we'll be in good shape. We'll see.
