They beat my team, but I don’t see North Rowan anywhere near number 3.

Well it's just seeding. I wouldn't look at this as rankings. No rankings will have North third in west.

Definitely,. based off remaining record of teams robbinsville plays vs Mt airys remaining bad record teams ELKIN south stokes alleghany game would definitely be at robbinsville.
Robbinsville-Swain game may end up deciding who the 1 seed is.

Ok after looking at it a little more closely, and seriously, three of PAC7 teams are ranked 13th, 11th and 3rd in 2A west(right now anyway). RPI doesn’t really reward teams for playing “up” though. However the OWP should improve some. It really doesn’t matter in the end but it is interesting to talk about.

It will decide if Rville or MA is 1 seed.
Swain doesn't get 1seed either way. I don't think.

I hope Murphy or Swain whips that butt for them and they still have to come to Mt Airy

Hopefully we will find out. Robbinsville will be battle tested. Definitely will have played better teams than Mt Airy.
I don't think either fanbase cares really about the home field 'advantage'. They just don't want to have to make the drive. Pretty much have to take half a day off work and get a hotel room unless you are planning to get home at 2 or 3 in the morning. I am getting older and grumpy. I don't want to do that.
RexReallly our team if we have to go up there needs be there night before to rest that is 50 percent of Big Oaks problem that's what these guys rely on I'm willing to sponsor motel room for player we need to find more to put out money if this happens
There are some teams in the west that can pull upset. We may never see this matchup. We may be driving to Ramseur again

I agree, I’m not associated with Murphy but I’ve watched a couple games online this season. They are a very solid team.
Got to ask @mbdfan. He will tell us the truth on the smc. Does Swain or Murphy have the guns to beat Robbinsville? That Tuscola win by swain not looking so good now. They got waxed by a terrible Franklin team.

Hard to tell BK. Everybody’s OWP and OOWP would keep changing. That’s why it’s difficult to predict what RPI will be at end of season even if your team wins out.
OOWP is hard to predict but RV will gain in WP and OWP. So if the OOWP is used to determine SOS RV should be 1 seed. If we win out. That Murphy game in less than 2 weeks will be huge.

I don’t think there’s any way ER can make a big enough jump from 6th all the way to 1 however their OWP will increase in the coming weeks as well. Doesn’t the teams you have already played cause OWP to continue to change as well? @Old Mountaineer definitely knows way more than me. I always thought it did. One reason ER RPI was so good last couple of years.

I don't about knowing more lol but yeah I would think that the owp will continue to change as the teams you've already played records will change ether for the good or bad. Question would be with the owp counting 10% more then the wp if you say a SMC team plays a WHC team early in the season and your team loses do you hope that team will continue to win or lose? On one hand because for example in the end of the regular season and that's your only lose but your owp is higher and if you're oowp is equal to that team wouldn't your team still be ranked higher? Can remember so they look at head to head or just the RPI in the playoffs?
