Well, its all talk so it really amounts to about as much as a bucket of spit but I do find it puzzling that every single 'expert' picked texas despite the fact that State already whipped the longhorn's *** in convincing fashion this season. The texas homer pointed to their 5-0 waltz through the regional rounds but failed to recognize the quality of their opposition. Enough talk. Let's play ball.

I like playing as the underdog. We usually perform better in that situation.

With that said, Texas is really really good and we will have to be at our best to beat them with their ace on the mound. They are way deeper than ND was on the mound.

Oh I agree we can't take them lightly but how exactly are they a different team? They got their longhorns handed to them by 3 top 10 teams to start the season and then didn't see another team that is CURRENTLY ranked in the latest D1 top 25 until May where they dropped 2 of 3 to Texas Tech. They played in a crappy top heavy conference that only put 4 in the tourney but got 3 top 8 NS. And predictably they proved to be overrated as just one made it to omaha and the one that made it didn't face anybody remotely close to a national ranking along the way.

They could very well beat us but I don't see anything that tells me they aren't the same team we played in arlington back in Feb.

A game from February means zero, a game from last week even means zero and ask Arkansas if a game from June 11th(21-2) meant anything on June 12th(5-6) or June 13th(2-3).
