That slo-mo on Chandler's final 3...thing of beauty!
That’s my team’s coach! Positive thinker and sincere. Get guys who respond to it. Forget the mercenaries. Saw where one of our recruit prospect said UK was different .. all about winning like that’s not a good thing?
Something that bothered me. That official made sure to send MM to that free throw line. He was never fouled. He wanted him on the line instead of Chandler. These guys in these situations have got to quickly get the ball to the free throw shooters. I’ve seen Oweh hold the ball several times in key moments when he needs to get it to the free throw shooters. This can cost you huge in the tournament.
They make the best videos. I’m not high on the Ted Talk stuff he’s just over the top on the Tony Robbins stuff. Hell Tony Robbins is harder up. There’s a time and place, can’t be that way all the time. Some of my best coaches including college were guys we feared. We feared then and wanted to make them proud at the same time. I think Mark needs to find a space for n between.

Almost every post of yours is a Ted talk. Maybe you could go easy on coach. I like you man but you’re handing out criticisms that also apply to yourself. FWIW I don’t mind your Ted talks.
I’m talking about the constant “tell our story”. He’s constant with it. These guys, and I played college ball so I know, are not the types. I played with predominantly black players in black areas. I’m just telling you this is something I’d dial down at least a little. I coached in these areas too. So I had experience with it.
It’s okay to insert it but I’m just saying the overly dramatic stuff in every speech is going to be ignored and laughed at if you lay it on continuously. Mark is a nice guy and it’s fine to have your own way, and I wouldn’t want him to be something he’s not, but it’s so over the top it’s going to be tuned out at a certain point. Probably laughed at too. Possible that’s why Oweh was seen rolling his eyes who knows. I would dial it back at least a little.
I don’t talk about telling our stories together so I don’t know what you mean.
Just so you know, I consider UKGrad24 aka Kentucky15 aka Morg something of a friend. We have regularly criticized and admonished one another for some time. We are both very passionate fans with different perspectives. You, however, regularly seem to be hurt about something and I don’t know why. I can’t recall ever having quoted you or admonishing you in any type of way and yet I can always expect when I launch this app and see “Mossip has quoted your post” it is always an insult or something personal that has nothing to do with the topic. Sir, if you’re looking for me to volley with you in personal barbs and insults you’re shaking the wrong tree. You’re very welcome to ignore my posts so that facts don’t hurt your feelings anymore. Something Chandler said and I hope this is what is happening. Pope has our guys in shape, in the second half Chandler said let's run they do not want to run right now. I feel like Pope has instilled a bit of the 96 teams cardio and no quit in these guys. I think anyways.
It might be that the critical or angry statements don't make it to the film clips we receive due to Pope's positivity.

He has had four usernames that I know of does that ever make you question why he has to change his name frequently? Let's be honest it's fine if he's your friend, but he's been a smug arrogant jerk since he got here.
I think he means well. He has very extreme opinions that I don’t agree with but I don’t think he genuinely loves Kentucky basketball. As far as the name changes, I assume he gets banned or something idk. I’m a very pro-Pope poster by this website standards and I’d say he leans pretty sharply anti-Pope but he articulates himself pretty well and doesn’t make things personal — I don’t like the “Pope Ted talks” criticism much coz both me and Morg are both largely Ted talk posters. Pope should have earned enough respect for us not to nitpick the pettiest things with him all the time in my personal opinion.
True. He did, I was ugh… I do think that I’d rather take my chances with Chandler taking those free throws than Oweh or MM though.
Buddy you were the same with Calipari. Anything that’s not rays of sunshine are smug or arrogant or negative. I just try and be objective. You were the same way with Calipari. We could hire a goat and you’d bet upset with anything anyone says about his inabilities. The pumping is fine, but not everyone is going to do that and it doesn’t make them arrogant or smug because they don’t. It’s all in your head.
I’ve been here since wildcatchat in my middle school: high school days. I have lots of friends I’ve made on the board. We talk regularly. There’s always been a small segment of pumpers, I mostly ignore it unless they interact with me. Similar to this. I don’t take those guys serious.
I've been since 2005. I supported Caliparilike I do all of our coaches until he gave up. I wanted his removal for about the last two years that he was here.
I have no sunshine pumper never have been but when they do good, I try to recognize it. You've always acted like your word is absolute on here. Well, it's not.
The result of one ft changes nothing. Anybody who has shot enough free throws has missed free throws. You roll with your best percentage and most clutch players and live with the result. I want Aberdeen or Chandler with the ball in crunch time free throw scenarios. Aberdeen had the experience of a champion on his 2 trips to the line down the stretch.
When I’m around other UK fans, I’m objective about what I’m seeing. If I’m around other fans of other programs, I defend. I don’t see the need in defending a coach to another UK guy. It is what it is, I like to know what they’re thinking objectively. There’s no sense in defending a coach to another UK fan, they see what they see. If it’s a UT or another team bashing on them then I get it. That’s why I skip over and don’t pay attention to pumpers. They’re not objective so i already know what they think. No need in communicating.
It’s like with Mark, I was all on board. Then things started happening within the administration that not everyone is privy to, and so you have to read between the lines. I’m not the only one aware of some of it here, there are several. So sometimes maybe listen to what’s being said. My main concern is Barnhart and Mark and their relationship now. We will not win under Barnhart’s vision. So it’s statements I’m making about things like that it’s not about being an end all.
