He is trending to washington, so all the fuss may not matter.

The in-home with Leach is supposedly tomorrow night. If he doesn't commit after that then I think the writing will probably be on the wall. If he is still up in the air though I really don't understand Brice not visiting this weekend. I personally would just like to have another option with experience if possible. Not sure really how well Shrader or Mayden fit in this offense and Rogers is just a true freshman.

Peyton Ramsey from Indiana could be a name worth monitoring if it doesn’t work out with Costello.

If we end up missing on Costello, Ramsey would be a really good pickup. He is efficient and a solid athlete. Subpar arm strength but makes good decisions and is VERY accurate, which are the most important things in Leach’s offense. Never had any significant injury issues in his career and has played a lot of football.

Either guy would fit what we need to run this offense, IMO. Costello probably has the higher ceiling but Ramsey’s durability and athleticism might make his “floor” higher.

This Costello is a total premadonna. We don't want him. Character issues. Grade risk. Not cut out for the SEC. Wacky throwing motion. Won't embrace the grind. Prefers Coors Light over Miller Light. Need I go on?
