Now that we have our next coach, it’s our turn to return to our rightful place as Rhulers of the Big 10. What do you want to see on our football manifesto of the Husker Way ???

As much as I'm loathe to do this, as much as I was to get in a line this morning to make sure I got what I needed to get before the rest of the psycho consumers snapped it up, and because I know its going to be beat into the ground and played out the day after he's announced....I'm going with

Matt's House, Matt's Rhules

Ugh. Now I feel dirty.

At this point I am willing to be very patient giving a new coach time to be successful. I don't care if it takes seven years, as long as there is some sign of progress each year. The problem with Frost was that he was as bad or worse in his 4th season as he was his first day on the job. Need to build sustained success from the ground up. Start with a consistent system that the high schools in the area can emulate so we actually have a recruiting base. Fix the strength program. Develop players over time. Maybe keep a star recruit for more than one year.

I think we need to bring back movie nights, rap concerts, and sprinkles with ice cream after practice, and more hip hip hooray attitude. Need to make it fun again, that will get us some good players
