Where did all this start? Did Fox News do an expose on trannies who play footsie or something? Seems wingnuts everywhere are suddenly all aghast about where trannies pee. WGAF?
The bathroom issue is being so overblown by both sides, but I do find all the fear mongering humorous.
I find it humorous that people are all of a sudden deciding that they're not coming here because the bathroom policy is the same as it has been statewide.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing in my eyes. Already too many NJ/NY transplants here.
It's so much more than a bathroom policy and you should get your laughs in while you can. The law will change.
Where did they pee before? I've been using public restrooms fro a long time and for the life of me, I don't ever recall seeing anyone in one who looked like a trannie. I'm sure I've stood at a urinal pissing beside a gay guy before but assuming I have, he didn't try to blow me. I find the whole thing humorous as well. Doesn't the law prevent cities from passing non-discrimination laws? If so, I think that's what people have the biggest problem with.
Cities don't pass laws, they pass ordinances. State is now keeping municipalities from setting their own, and keeping with the state laws. NC laws are still above and beyond Federal law.
And yes, HB2 will be modified from its current. Because of Charlotte's absurd speed on it, the state had to react too quickly. Bathroom policy remains the same, however.
Never said it was. Re-read my post very slowly and maybe you will figure that out. Here's another hint: in my post, I referred to "all these states" so you can infer, if you follow the news, that I was referring to places like MS, TN (and almost GA).

Does he have a penis? If so, he should be in he male restroom. If he doesn't, that's a good question but it does make it difficult to use a penis if it's not there.[winking]
As I said, if the person has male genitalia , he should be in a males bathroom. If you want to convert from male to female, do it, don't talk about it. The problem arises when a sick male claims he's a tranny just to get in there to take a looksy. As long as he's looking at your daughter or wife, that's ok. I guess you would agree with that, since you are so liberated.
I don't think you understand the law. They aren't going by genitalia, they are going by the gender on your birth certificate. Now, I don't know how you'd ever enforce that. You have to have your BC with you to go to the bathroom now?
To me, I don't care what somebody was born with, they should use whatever bathroom fits their anatomy now.
I honestly don't even get why there has to be a law. I mean, is this really a huge problem? People are overdosing on heroin all over the place and we're worried about who is using what bathroom?
That's my whole argument FOR HB2. Charlotte got the big britches and tried to change it to "You can go to whatever gender bathroom you want to today". Meaning a fully atonomic male could claim to be female for the day and go to the wrong bathroom. HB2 says no Charlotte, you can't do that.

That's what I have said all along. Use the bathroom that YOU have the plumbing for. I don't think it would be a problem either. I think the problem will come from sicko male pererts making a false claim that they are trannies just to get some pics or a free look.

Have historically utilized facilities when passing thru NC as needed. Going forward, I will look for Tenn plates with Obama sticker holding a cig. I will either hold or go into the woods.
