I live in Albuquerque, so the Lobos have become my second favorite team. And I hate Fleck

After 35 years of this Bowl ( was the Insight at one time ) the attendance record is still held by Iowa/Oklahoma, 54K at the 2011 game and the runner up? Iowa vs. Missouri 53K. Last time Minnesota played here they drew about 21K. I suppose the opponent, New Mexico might have buoyed attendance a little, maybe 25K...

Not necessarily a murderer's row of opponents, but nine straight bowl wins against the likes of Washington State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Auburn is nothing to completely scoff at.
Of course for the sake of fairness and full disclosure, it also bears mentioning that they had lost seven straight bowls before this current winning streak.
