Any body else notice that stat ESPN had up about Frank solich bowl games. Said he only had 2 at Nebraska. That's not correct. Started in 1998. Coaches until being fired in 2003 which his team went to a bowl but pedey shine canned him before bowl game

I don't mind getting to watch extra football but why is this a bowl game? Having to go to Idaho in Jan. is far more of a punishment than a reward.

It is Boise trying to be relevant. Their field is butt ugly, and stadium is like high school.

Ohio won their 3rd straight bowl game. Nebraska misses a bowl for 3rd straight season, coincidence?

Yeah that approximate 58% winning percentage at Ohio proves you right.................Barely.

Lol

Yeah the most wins as a MAC coach is kind of a dubious honor as well. Good coaches dont usually stick around long enough to get that many wins cause they get upgrade job offers and split..

Reminds me of Crash Davis from Bull Durham quietly setting the minor league record for home runs... just not quite good enough to make it to the show...

Imo, Pedeyshine is the main reason NU cfb dropped to the bottom of the bucket. Truly the worst AD ever.

On ESPN now. Hideous blue smurf turf.

Great smaller stadium. I’ve been to two games there. Boise in a fun town. Too many damn Californians moving in so like a lot of places it is growing too fast. I am glad Frank’s team won. When the game was being played I was out in sagebrush country hunting quail. I was keeping up with the score on SiriusXM. Got home in time to see them wrap it up. Frank like the rest of us is looking old.

We are going to have to disagree. I’ve been to two games at the Boise stadium and I think they do a first class job. It only seats 36000 but it’s well run during games and has good seating. Another great smaller stadium is The University of Montana’s stadium. Even smaller, but built by one of their fat cat alumni, Denny Washington. I love going to Missoula too. Very cool town.

The blue field needs to go for TV's sake. Man it's almost impossible to watch a game played on that field.
