Duke Tax is a good term. Let me add to the article though. What he gets penalized for- having the best players- in an era where many coaches aren’t even recruiting HS talent bc of the portal. And yet it’s still held against Jon. That’s ironic.
Mike Krzyzewski retired after the 2021-2022 season. His last ACC COY award was in 2000. LOL. As I said in another thread, that award is now the "we thought your team would suck" award and that's their criteria for awarding it.

It is "ironic,"and is a forgotten factor by the media. This is one of the youngest teams, and a masterpiece of roster construction by Jon(sprinkling in only three veteran transfers, only one starts). No one expected ANY TEAM to STORM thru the ACC regular season like Duke has done.
