Watching it now. Some nice shooting. Harris looked good in the 3pt comp. What exactly is Tatum going to be doing??

Sarr is going to take a little time to adjust to the college game . This team is loaded with shooters now we need to make them in games and open up the driving lanes .

10 Countdown thoughts.
1. First look we don't seem all that athletic. We are skilled for sure. But I am comparing to last year.
2. Foster's better but seems behind Proctor and Sion at this point.
3. Nick or Harris would be my pick for 5th starter. Sarr has a long way to go, but long season.
4. Big Boozer a bit slow and methodical but skilled. More Battier than Banchero or Cooper.
5. Evans is not shy. Hit some nice shots but took some bad ones. Still mostly a 3 point shooer but a good one.
6. Big Pat looks great. Was our best player today.
7. Back up big and Wilkens looks solid.
8. We really need Brown back. We're a good team but nothing really jumped out. Sorry I'm in critcal mode now. We are a very solid team who are going to take some early L's. Lots of upside though!

We don’t have Cooper Flagg, so for this Duke team to be serious contenders Foster has to be better on offense than Proctor and Sion were. Unless little Boozer is really good.
Little boozer to me ends up starting pg which is a good thing

More thoughts and hot takes 🔥 . Big boozer wasn’t “impressive” but I think it was more of a “this is a scrimmage” then a “I’m not the man” I fully expect him to be an all American and be contending for player of the year. Pat was beast mode but is that just from who was guarding him? Cayden will start pg over foster by Christmas. Sarr will be a solid but not a star. Nik will be a star if he stays another year. Still could be this year. Harris looked great and I mean that.. great. Evans looked good, not fair to say he’s still just a shooter cuz once again just a scrimmage could be same mentality as booz. Wilkins looked better than sarr. Foster looked better but I don’t think he’s really PG material, hope I’m wrong. Solid off ball guard for us though, just sucks for him we prob have better options for that

I agree with all that's said above. While I would love to see Foster take the big jump because we need some serious back court experience if we want to go far but at this point I don't see it in him yet. If we eventually decide to go with Cayden, we'll have 3 freshman, and two sophomores starting. Just not a good recipe to make a deep run.

Again, I hope Foster gets it together.

And I believe thats where Sarr will shine, attacking the rim with spacing by the shooters #SI6HTS
