The coaching trifecta

Someone alluded to this in a previous thread and it made me think. We are coming off three coaches (Hill, Rice, Jordan) who were unmitigated disasters. How could any program survive that? Pike has a monumental task here but he must have known when he took the job. It's amazing he won 2 games in the Big ten given the fact it's his first year of following up Moe, Larry, and Curly.

He knows the task at hand and has done everything possible in year one... assembled a great coaching staff, instilled a strong culture within the program, meeting/greeting HS coaches around the state and improved the product on the floor (albeit not in wins/losses as we may have liked).

If he can prove he can recruit better talent- the future is very bright.

Its been a very long time since Rutgers had power conference type talent .
