Was AMart going down possibly for the season. I can deal with a loss. Especially in HCSF first game. Hopefully this is not a trend for his entire career.

Especially PMO that people on here are so critical. What do you expect? We have Mike Rileys players, new offense, and first game. Yes the game was far from perfect but there are major improvements in todays game. I think people do not understand that CU is much improved this year. Chris Fowler tweeted after the game that he things Montez is a possible heisman can. If you want an example of growing pains look at UCLA and Chip Kelly. They have looked absoutely trash this year, frankly hardly competitive and they were in a lot better situation than we were last year.

Just telling yall to settle down, patience.....

A&M looked pretty good tonight with a new coach. Mississippi State's looked real good.

Most people had this is as a sure "W" in their preseason predictions. CU is a bottom-half Pac-12 team. Frost will get it turned around but we lost a very winnable game today.

The team that was put on the field against Iowa was arguably the worst team in NU history...our 4 wins last year were against some of the worst teams in college football and some of our 8 losses were against bad teams as well. That team didn't play a bowl game and was augmented by a recruiting class that was built in 6 weeks. This game was always a toss up...the fact that we dominated the stats should make fans happy, but it was likely going to a close game because we have a true frosh starting and bunch of guys who don't know if they are any good. They know they are good now...As somebody who hadn't watched a game live since 2012, I was pleased, I was entertained, I was impressed, I was disappointed...those are the feelings of a fan.

Idiot, sore loser, response of the day. Typical! 'Rams are the worst. CU beat the worst team in FBS'. Whoops, Rams beat Arkansas. 'NU will destroy CU'. Whoops!
This board couldn't be any more wrong about anything, so CU is sure to win the Pac 12 South now.

Lol wat?

I think CU has a shot at the South. Arizona is awful. ASU isn't impressive. UCLA is garbage. Utah and SC are probably the best, but not that much better than CU. What the hell. Win 'em all, Buffs. I'm betting you hope the same for Nebraska, right?

That’s funny because I think most CU fans had this as a W too. I think both fan bases think the other is down. I think NU is a good team and as I said, I hope Martinez is okay. He will take you guys far if healthy.

Go ahead, compose an ode. Shed a tear or two. Name your first-born Laviska. Because you beat a team that is 1-8 in its last nine games.

(Seriously, though. Laviska is an awesome name.)

Best of luck and win the South. And I was happy to see the Rammies pull one out last night. Some of their fans even stayed to see the end.

Yes A&M looked good and the turnover when their QB cramped up and the backup came in for one play and turned the ball over cost them the game, but the talent that Jimbo inherented is stunningly above what Scott Frost inherented. I don’t believe most people know what gap there was between Nebraska’s talent pre-Scott Frost and elete teams. Scott has already upgraded but only so much can be done in one partial recruiting season. I doubt there are any players that could start for Clemson or A&M on the Nebraska roster. Definitely no DB’s, probably not linebackers or defensive linemen. No receivers at this point (not even close here). No running backs. No QB. Probably not an offensive lineman.

And the Clemson A&M kicking specialist were excellent. Particularly the A&M punter. Our punting wasn’t terrible but our special teams in general pretty bad.

Yes it was avery winnable game and should have been won. I would not say most people had this as a sure W. I think most would have expected 2-2 after Michigan last spring.

CU is gonna get wrecked in the PAC 12. This team is going to lose a lot of games.
The PAC is down, with only Washington, Wash. State and Stanford as the big 3 this year. CU could make some noise if they don't suffer injuries.

They lost at home to A 7-5 team. Another losing season is in sights.

I’m happy for the future .......it sucks to know your team has no chance at being relevant in a season.

Irrelevance since 2001. It just gets old.
