Because you said we are on track for an NIT bid, all I'm asking is why do you think we are? Not being a sarcastic jerk, just want to know why you feel that way

Technically we’re in line for the NIT right now based on RPI... if that’s the answer you’re looking for. If we finish the season with 19ish wins, we will probably get an NIT bid, anything less than that probably won’t cut it.

The overall strength schedule and the W @ KState (something neither OU nor OSU could pull off). Finishing 4th in the AAC, the 7th ranked conference. Potentially finishing in the top 70. Beating Temple (still to come) and SMU here.
The NIT is a real possibility but requires continuing good performance.
If it happens, TU will have earned it. The same committee that picks the NCAA picks the NIT based on the same criteria.
