The Big Crab......

Where does this guy live, I think you said on the eastern shore side, but that's a big *** strip of land.
Don't know, the friend that sent me the pic, just said a guy he works with who lives and caught it on the Eastern Shore. I have caught many huge crabs in Eastern Bay and the Wye river but thats the biggest I have seen. My daughter brought me a couple dozen up from Annapolis Saturday. They were supposedly No.1's but I have thrown back many crabs that were that small.
My friend just e-mailed me and said the guy caught it in the Eastern Bay. He also told me a friends son was chicken necking off his pier on the Rhode River Saturday and the first crab he caught was an 8 incher that was also doubling. He said he has been tearing up the crabs this year. He invited me down.....I think I'll go.
My house is on the Back River near Rocky Point golf course. It's northern bay western side. Basically the next river North of the Patapsco (approaches to the inner harbor of Baltimore).
I usually wake up to about 10 guys crabbing about 100 yards off my pier during crab season. Off of Rocky Point is apparently a really good place to crab. I haven't gotten into yet, I spend most of my time Rock Fishing, which I have dialed in pretty tight. We are planning on getting into all of the tournaments next season. I'm pretty excited. On a side note, I have a trip planned to Costa Rica in January to take some of my best friends bill fishing, neither has ever hooked anything comparable so I'm excited to show them the ropes of true offshore bliss.
I was talking to a guy about possibly filming all of next season to see what we can push to the networks. The guy is related to one of my fishing buddies that I grew up with. The guy does the Sick for the Hunt series if you've ever watched that.
