The Basketball Tournament

A bunch of RU basketball alums are trying to enter into The Basketball Tournament. It's a pretty big tournament. They need to play in a mini play in tournament to get into the big one. There's an entry fee and the donations need to be made before noon today.

This tournament is using an interesting rule. With four minutes to go in the game, they shut off the game clock and go to a "first to X" format to decide the winner, where X is based on a predetermined algorithm. For instance, if the score is 75-70 at the four minute mark, the winner is the first to 82. The objective is avoid the inevitable endgame foul shooting competition.
