What is it? Because Indiana didn't have Georgia or Texas players, but we were outathleted everywhere.

I think you mean out coached. Don’t think too much about how team X has such better players than us. It’s the coaching, it’s always been the coaching.

There are certainly massive coaching deficiencies, I'd just like to know why only one frosh receiver on our team can get separation, though its a "deep" WR room. Also would love to know why our OLine can't do more to mask its weaknesses.

They were undoubtedly faster and more 'sudden' than us yesterday.

A lot of that is coaching and players confident in what they are doing.

Our front 7 on defense got massively exposed yesterday. Especially our DL that essentially didn't make a play all game. Robinson and the Polar Bear were non-existent.

Every team has weaknesses; a good coaching staff will be better able to scheme around them. Sadly, I'm not sure if this staff is able to do that :(

Hey OP, It ain't the juicing 90's no more and we're not the only ones that figured out football speed is recruited in the south. We won't out-athlete anybody ever again. You gotta hire an elite coach who will hire elte assistants that can recruit. Then get Warren Buffett's inheritance and we're on our way. Not easy, but it is the name of the game.

Actually it was both. Their OL, RBs, WRs, and QB were all better than ours. Their OC was also clearly better than ours. So yeah while the coaching blew donkey nutz the players WERE better than ours as well. Hate to be the one to tell you that.

On paper we do, but I don’t disagree after yesterday.

That was one of the most disappointing things to me. Polar Bear and Robinson and our DL can create significant disruption against lesser opponents. But against any decent opponent, they up and disappear.

I wish some coaches would follow Cig’s transfer method. I understand he brought a bunch of his own players, but he brings in productive WINNERS. Nebraska complains about learning to win, then bring in productive players on bad teams or non productive players from highly rated out of high school players.

Easy to build a winning culture when you bring in productive winners, even at small schools imo.

Completely honest, this big time college football these days are more like the NFL and less like college football in the past. Now, an 8-4 team will be considered a good team and a 9-3 team will be on the border of the playoffs, especially when they inevitably go to 16 teams.

The days of any team going through the season unchallenged are over. With the 2 super conferences now, I wouldn't be surprised if the 6 playoff teams representing the SEC/B10 range from 10-2 to 8-4.

Nebraska was not outathleted. They just didn't show up, similar to a pretty good Atlanta Falcons team didn't show up yesterday against the Seahawks. When we fumbled at the 10 in the first quarter, that set the tone for the remainder of the game. If not for the turnovers, Indiana probably wins a 35-28 game with us basically playing ****** defense.

They’re eating double teams. Our backers and edge players are the ones getting abused.

Their Solich recruit QB was clearly better than ours. The rest I believe was coaching, scheme and play calling.

If you don't think their RBs were better than ours we weren't watching the same game. Same for our OL and our WRs. I don't care what they look like on paper.
