This post is way too early this year. I loved this team and this season. Lawson and Martens, you put up with adversity and represented our school very well. Good luck to you in everything you do.

I hope and pray this isn’t the end. I will do what I can to see that it isn’t. You deserved so much more. If it is, take solace that you won a league that is absurdly disrespectful to you. There’s a certain Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid quality to going out this way.

There has been alittle bit of requests for seniors to get an extra year. I dont think that will be the case but have to hold onto some hope

Lawson Korita's contributions are unmatched. No one can ever take away the greatest .gif of them all !!!1

I'm super impressed by Lawson. He got it pretty good on here, a lot of "Korita shouldn't ever see the court!" But he stuck with it and became a rock for this team. Really impressive. There are a lot of great stories on this team. Anytime we start to get jaded or cynical about college sports, we need to throw in tapes of this year's team. A good reminder of what college sports are about, not just $$

I think I said that about 100 times!
I had such high hopes seeing him in HS. Total stud. But, so happy to see him have a terrific senior season.

Fans in general want shooters and scorers but coaches know you need the unselfish guy who knows how to rebound, defend, and pass, that’s what they saw in Korita that the majority of fans didn’t. There were a handful of us that saw that too but after getting shouted down a few times while trying to pass along what we saw we gave up trying.

Was there anything better to hear near the end of a close game than "Korita will be shooting free throws"? Guy was freaking money when we really needed it.

Thanks Martins & Lawson for 4 years of representing yourself & TU very well!

As tough as this sudden ending is for all the players, coaches and fans, there are some nice things about this TU season:
-Awesome wins against Houston, WSU, SMU, Memphis & UCONN
-TU ends the season as conference champs.
-Korita’s senior day was his best game at TU
-Igbanu made 1st team AAC & carried us down the stretch
-Coach Haith wins AAC Coach of the year
-We can always say we know we would’ve won the AAC tournament!

Thanks to the seniors Lawson and Martins.

Very sad for you about the cancellation of the Tournaments but,

You'll always be American Conference Champions.

Quite an accomplishment you should be very proud of yourselves.

I know as one TU fan I'm certainly proud of what you guys did over the four years you attended TU.

That banner will always hang in the rafters so you guys will never be forgotten.


GO TU!!!!

Thank you Martins and Lawson. The AAC season was the most impressive thing I've seen in TU basketball in a long time. The way these guys could close out a tight game made me feel like anything was possible going forward. Then there was no forward. As disappointed as I was to wake up Thursday to the news, I can't even imagine how Martins and Lawson must have felt.
Martins will always be one of my favorite TU players. I love his work ethic. He really won me over when he was on the court shooting free throws after the crowd filed out when he had a bad game at the line.
