I'm sure his senior year has not went like he expected. That said, his hustle on that kick off return may have saved the day for Nebraska last Saturday. We eventually held them out of the end zone with an interception. Eric really answered the bell when his team needed him most.

Regardless that was a big play that saved our bacon at what could have been a turning point in the game. I'm quite sure we wouldn't have seen that kind of effort last year from any of our guys let alone a backup.
Domann is probably already better than Davis. We need some help at this position. Davis gets blown off the ball every play.
This may be true but I’m intrigued because they seem to be completely different types of athletes. Alex Davis is an OLB that has more of a D Ends skill set. Domann is more of a DB.
I like the idea of Gifford and Domann on the field at the same time. That gives a 3-4 feel with something close to Dime personnel. Could be very helpful against pass happy teams like Ohio St.
