Texsa really really sucks.

Notre Dame made them look like a high school team. Rice racked up nearly 500 yards of offense on that Strong defense. UT managed 277 yards of offense against the Owls. If Rice had not gotten in their own way they may have just cruised to victory over the hapless horns.

Texsa ranks in the bottom of FBS teams in the meaningful stats for both offense and defense. Pretty bad when they couldn't even pad their stats against a patsy. It's possible that they might not win again until November when they play Kansas.

If Stoops and Co can't blow out this hapless Texsa squad, they should be fired immediately post game and OU should hire the regulars from this board as coaches. I don't know anything about coaching, but I suspect I could at least match wits with Sorry Charlie.

Can Jay coach the defense too? I saw all summer on OB that their defense was going to be "nasty." I guess I was thinking nasty good, not wrap it up in a flag and do it for glory nasty.

And the Cal offense Horns will be playing next week is its best in many years. Bears might have found a defense too. Will be interesting to see if Texas can hang with an O that is much more skilled than NDame or Rice.

OUch. But we both know without a doubt that the horns are afflicted with suck. And for them it appears that suck is like a case of herpes.


Their poor fans on OB. They can't even enjoy the win over Rice. Many of them have turned their attention to hoping somebody can beat OU. Look for them to have a new favorite team each Saturday.
