National Weather Forecast. Sunny high of 100 Degrees, low this evening 76 degrees. South wind 5 to 15 MPH, gusts as high as 20 MPH. Not sure of the layout, on how that wind could affect the game?? Anyone has any ideas, reports on that?
Nathan Dettmer likely starting for Texas A&M. Doesn’t give up a ton of walks and is good at limiting the long ball, given up just 4 on the year. He had a 3.13 ERA entering May but has been shaky since then and it’s now up to 4.67. Given up 20 earned runs in 18.2 innings since the beginning of May. Also has a WHIP of 2.08 since then. His last start he gave up 6 runs and 9 hits to Louisiana in 4.1 innings. We can touch this kid up. He’s just looked like a completely different pitcher since the start of May. Need Poland to have a good game
