Our center has been consistently terrible. Brin is usually getting the snap at his shoes. Thank God he is an athlete and can handle them-But it takes his eyes off the receivers and defense while trying to handle **** SNAPS which is a huge disadvantage. How can we not have a better center-this is pathetic.

The players have no confidence and don't ever seem upset at the prospect of losing. Our kick-off coverage is a microcosm of our team: you know what's coming before his foot meekly hits the ball downfield... Monty is one of those "friend coaches" rather than a taskmaster. Maybe kids today can't handle a taskmaster, I don't know, but this team needs to hate the taste of losing as much as the fanbase does. They're hot-shotting around on campus wearing their political gear, jewelry and walking with swagger, yet they can't catch a pass, field a kick or snap a football.
Ya, all of the political crap mixing in with football needs to stop, it’s going to piss more people off then anything regardless what your stance is, the football field isn’t the time for your personal platform
Couldn’t agree more with this observation! This hasn’t been just last night, either! The difference last night was consistently the bad snaps were combined with no pass blocking. Our right tackle whiffed on Houston’s left DE more than half the time. Brin would bend over to catch a low snap & then have to juke the DE. If he made it that far, he could start looking for a receiver.
We were supposed to be good 2 deep on our OL this season. We shouldn’t put up with consistently poor play from certain offensive linemen if we have decent backups on the sideline.
Maybe coach should do as Pete Rose's dad did to young Pete. Team loses you go to bed hungry(no meal). No manner how well you played(team lost). You should read his book "Play Hungry" and you will know why he ran to first base so fast after a walk.
Fwiw, I saw Crawford throw his helmet into the bench hard after coming off the field after one of the interceptions. I was glad to see at least one of them was fed up with the crap.
They can “coach speak” to the media about the offensive line but they get a bonafide D- for Friday’s no show
