Not very important at all, but just fyi and imo, the algorithm to which team rankings are calculated is pretty silly.
It seems to be an average, which logically makes no sense. Bringing in LeBron James and then a preferred walk on is not the same as a single mid recruit.
Just look at our team ranking when Mallory Smith committed. Nobody thinks he's going to be immediately impactful. He is just a depth/family recruit. It shouldn't be a negative on our ranking. No recruit should be. Any commit should be additive, not an average.
