Tarboro just playing 9 games reg season?

Yeah just 9. Riverside and south Creek merged football programs and it happened very close to the beginning of the season. And as a result Tarboro was unable to find an opponent.

There will be scheduling gaps to fill in all sports in our conference because of their merger.

Would the missed game been a home game or away?
Also, how bad does this hurt Tarboro's sports budget?

In basketball, you would typically play conference opponents once a year at your gym. So that’s one home and one away missing in BB. Football, home and away rotates. Last year, we had South Creek at home and Riverside away. This year, we had Martin Co at home, so I don’t think it’s a problem this year.
