Some of the smart comments he made tonight was "Tulsa's student section would not have helped them beat SMU" "Tulsa still in this game because UCONN is missing shots". Are you serious? Tulsa came out tonight and was the mentally tougher team. This east coast clown claims to know basketball? UCONN was missing shots because TU DEFENDED! Its how you win games when shots are not falling! Down the stretch, we made the shots we had to and proved that we were the tougher team. I know it must have been agony for Elmore to watch an average TU team beat a mighty east coast team like UCONN! Always love it when east coast bias has to eat it!!!

Um, the only way SMU is going to the Elite 8 this year is if they go to one of the sites and buy tickets. Then again, it's SMU so I'm sure some donor will "pony" up for tickets

I had an independent study with him once. He asked me what I was doing for spring break and I told him I was staying in town and watching the WAC tournament. He lectured me on how bad college athletics were for a university (which is funny, because I recall how happy he was when OU beat Nebraska in 2000). The conversation ended with, "Have fun at your WAC!!!!"
He must've been having a bad bolo day and his Powhatan Confederacy of 1620 lecture wasn't up to par.
