Sweat and Simmons will go down as huge steals.

[stateu1]

Both would be gone if not for medical stuff
They should sue Rebel Rags for lying and colluding with Ole Miss doctors against them.

I'm not sure it is that as much as not being from LSU, Bama, "Blue Blood" college program.

[fishwater99]

No doubt. Damn you Plantation.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Ok, maybe I am wrong but I thought there were several teams in the first round who needed an EDGE guy like Sweat.

The NFL tries to find out everything about recruits to the point the know which hand they piss with. No telling why he did not go as hgh as we all thought he would, but you would think elite SEC defensive players would not go in the second half of the draft.

Can't believe Carolina didn't pick Sweat there at 16.

[Chris Mannix]

Carolina is puzzling. Thought that was going to be the spot.

Give me Fletcher Cox / Jeffrey Simmons in Brotherly Love.

[dickiedawg]

Sweat or Simmons in Philly, I'm here for it

[Chris Mannix]

Teams that need a guy like Sweat are passing. I hope not, but the free fall may be on.

Might as well get ready for it. Even though they said his heart condition was misdiagnosed today, the bigs are not buying it.

The upside is our guys will probably get drafted by the better teams.

Good side of this fall is they make it to better teams. Better Philly than Tampa Bay.

Exactly, if they go to playoff teams. I am cool with that versus teams that are done at mid season.

[MarkDallas]

I'm not convinced it was misdiagnosed. Like others have said, as soon as the first doctor said that, you would run to 5 or 6 other doctors to get confirmation. Ten of millions on the line.
