I'm kind of surprised since it was taking so long.

I wish he had stayed since the B1G would have had a legit Final Four team.

DJ Wilson also leaving but Wagner staying for Michigan

Purdue and Michigan State should be the favorites but I wouldn't count out Little Ricky.

The B1G should be much stronger next year.

He might be doing the right thing considering the way he's thought of after the type of season he had last year, but players like him are great stories and make the college game more enjoyable ( unless your school's playing Purdue) for those who follow and enjoy College BB more than the pro game.

not without Swanigan they won't (be better)

They lose only Swanigan. 1/3 of his minutes from last year go to Haas as they didn't have both of them on the court often.

Point guard was a freshman and they will have a ton of seniors. Everyone shoots the 3 at 40% and they shot over 75% from the FT line.

I see a similar scenario where they are the best team in the B1G in the regular season, get the highest seed, but don't get past Sweet 16 as they lack of scoring from the guard positions.

Maybe they go further this year with a 2 or 3 seed. Very, very good basketball team.

Purdue will not be the best team in the B1G. Michigan St is going to open the year in the top 5 (NBC Sports had them at #1 yesterday in their preseason top 25). Minnesota will also be better for sure. Purdue will be in the second tier with Maryland, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Michigan.

Unless you are Kentucky or UNCheat or the like you don't lose a 6'10" senior who can shoot up to 20 feet , your team's best player, the B1G POTY , likely first round pick, and improve as a team

Good luck to him.

Selfishly, I want the decision of Rutgers players to be "stay" and the decision of all opposing players on our schedule to be "go".
