Survivor Pool 2025 - Week 8

I'm surprised I actually won this thing and we didn't even get to Halloween, or even that close to it really. Should probably admit I only picked Texas A&M because I thought I'd picked Memphis already. Had picked Mizzou and Ole Miss so got all my M's mixed up or I'd have likely joined everyone else and we'd have had no survivors. Maybe we should do the opposite and pick which winless teams will keep losing from here on out. Everyone can only pick UMass once! And they almost pulled it out today themselves.
Another second place finish. With all the upsets, I would have run out of teams with two weeks to play.
Welp, and then the game was over.
It took only a quick 8 weeks. One thing our game had not had yet was the big upset that wiped out a good portion of the field. Ours finally came this week, as 17 survivors were all-in on Memphis, who couldn't pick up a 4th and goal in the last minute to force OT, instead falling to UAB as 23.5 point favorites. Of the remaining two, one picked the U, who also picked this week for their annual head-scratcher.
That left @HawkAlum2002 as the lone survivor. Congratulations.
